Improved HDD compatibility (Some WesternDigital and Samsung HDDs which you can attach to your PC without a problem, but in your TV you cannot see other than loading). There is no change except this.
However, to upgrade firmware you must use other than incompatible WesternDigital or Samsung HDDs.
This firmware consists of three files, so please make sure you put all three files to tvixfw folder on the root.
** How to upgrade firmware. **
1. Remove an incompatible HDD from your TVIX.
2. Put an compatible HDD to your TVIX.
3. Copy firmware files(three) to the tvixfw folder on the disk of TVIX after attaching to your PC using USB. If there is no tvixfw folder on the root of disk, please make first. Please check the folder name is tvixfw.
4. Detach your TVIX with safe remove feature of your OS.
5. When the power is off, push the MENU button. While you are pushing the MENU button push the Power button at the same time for 2 seconds. After a few seconds there will be a bluescreen for the F/W.
6. Press Ok to upgrade your firmware when you see the below screen.
7. After two progress bar has been shown and you see the message “Update successfully done! Power off your TVIX player”, turn off your TVIX.
8. Replace your HDD to WesternDigital or Samsung HDD which was not compatible before.

1. Supports files with divx extension (Does not support files with navigation)
2. Better support of subtitle files.
- Support MicroDVD and TmPlayer subtitle files(.txt)
- Fix the bug that misses some subtitles. However, it may miss subtitles in one sec.
- Fix the bug that does not show correctly when showing two subtitles at the same time. (This is for SMI subtitles. If you want to see more than one subtitle (language), you need to convert your subtitle to SMI format)
3. It saves the display position of subtitle.
4. Fix the bug showing <i></i> tags on srt files.
5. Better compatibility of MP3 and WAV files.
6. Remove the tick noise between wav files.
7. You can set your slide show folder (for music slide show) or background music folder by pressing 0(zero) key of remote on top of the folder that contains picture of audio files while you browsing files. If the first file of the folder is audio, the folder will be set as the background music folder. If the first file of the folder is picture, the folder will be set as the slideshow folder.
8. Changed the way check for a slideshow or background music folder when you play audio files or picture files.
- First, it checks image/audio files in the current folder.
- If there is no image/audio file on the current folder, it will check Autojpg/Automp3 folder or the folder set as slideshow by press 0 while you browsing.

10. The default background has been changed.
11. If the folder protected with password, the video file will not be bookmarked.
12. Fix the bug that does not bookmark when you go to setup while you see video files.
13. If the OSD is set to OFF, it will not show any OSD on the right top.
14. Fix the UI bug that the color of cursor is not set properly when Autorun starts..
15. The setting of user zoom will be saved.
16. For C-2000U, the bug that does not save TV Out when it is set to Component.
17. Added the function which TViX model has been shown on the SETUP.
18. Fixed the problem which Return button doesn't work at the PlayList function.
** How to set background folders
- Set a background music folder: Press 0 key on top of the folder that contains audio files. The first file must be an audio file.
-Set a slideshow folder: Press 0 key on top of the folder that contains picture files. The first file must be a picture file.
- Clear background folders: To clear folders, please press 0 on top of the folder where the first file is other than an audio or a picture file. In this case, even though there is Autojpg/Automp3 folder, the background music or slideshow will not be played.
*If you want to reset background folders to Automp3 or Autojpg, load the factory default settings by press STOP + MENU key on the unit (not on the remote).
