DTV Improvement:

2. The location of the recording scheduler file(schedule.data) was changed from internal hard disk to Flash Rom.
- Improved the problem that the TViX does not boot after the recording time set passes.

After upgrade, the setup value will change to factory default because we changed setup structure.We are sorry for the inconveniences and you may not see the picture after upgrade. Please use the
TVOUT button in the remote transceiver to see the screen and go to the setup menu to set the video output mode of your choice.

B. Press the Function button on your remote controller.
C. Select the fourth icon to set up the password like the picture below.
D. Press a four-digit number and once again the number ( Ex: 1234).
E. Press the OK button to set up.

- If you insert a wrong password, TViX automatically goes to the file-selecting page.
- If you forget the password, please remove tvix.pss file after connecting the TViX to your PC.
- The password should consist of numbers only.
- You cannot delete the folder set up by a password with the delete key. Remove the password in first.

1. No HDMI audio problem fixed, when using DVD juke box feature.
2. Better audio compatibility with HDMI monitors.
3. The program will prompt for the Audio when you play big(more than 2Gbyte) AVI files.
The current firmware has a problem of switching audio while playing the files, so we did some work around.
If you select the audio and let it go, it will play fine.
But if you do trick mode play, it will not play smoothly when you selected other than first audio.
4. Color space will not always be RGB in Component/DVI mode.
5. Several bugs fixed related Auto EDID and video mode setting.

[Known issue]
1.0.38 has a issue with HDMI when playing DVD and we are fixing this problem. If you are using mainly DVD, please do not download this version.
[7.16] DTS down mixing occasionally has some subtle noise.
Changes from 1.0.22
1. Now, DTS down mix works.
2. It supports HDTV now. (ATSC and DVB-T)
3. WVC1 in WMV file can be played
- Currently, it does not play WVC1 in AVI.
4. Now, it detects files with MOD and TOD extension.
5. The way TV Out works changed and it will take little longer than before.
NTSC -> 480P -> PAL -> 576P -> EDID
TV Out key is for the emergency only, so you need to set in the setup for the correct settings.
6. It will reset audio output to PCM when HDMI is selected.
- When you change audio output to digital, it will show a warning message.

This will be fixed in the next release. - If there is a progressive jpeg files which TVIX does not support, the slideshow may crash. You can copy files in your TVIX UI. 1. In the folder that has source files, press Function key and select Copy Icon then you will see Source on the right top of the screen. 2. Select files using Ok button. (If you press 0(zero), the selection will be inverted) 3. After selection, press Function key again and then the OSD will changed to Target from Source. 4. Navigate to the folder where you want to copy, and press Function key again then select Copy icon. We fixed many bugs reported on 1.0.0, so please upgrade the firmware before you start to use TViX.
Currently, this version has below issues.
1. There is a bug when playing H.264 high definition files, if you see abnormal playback including lots of mosaic pattern, please attaché any USB device to the USB host port of TViX. We do not know reason yet but this is going to be solved by future firmware.
2. The current firmware does not support DTS down mixing decoding. (But It does supports pass through.)
The reason for this is not technical cause but the licensing issue. We are under the process of getting DTS license officially and have been contacting DTS for a few month but on the contrary of our expectation, we were not able to get the license as of today.
Since, it will not be long before we get the license and we will upload the firmware with the DTS decoding as soon as we get the license.
3. JPEG slide show can be unstable depends on the photos played.
